We’re Lauren and Matt Vantine, founders of Honeybee Music Co. We’ve been writing, recording, and performing together for the last 12 years - Lauren as a singer/songwriter, pianist, and bassist, and Matt as a singer/songwriter, guitarist, and producer. Music has been our personal North Star throughout our lives, and we love more than anything to share it with others through teaching and performing. After years of teaching individually, we wanted to bring our knowledge together to create a community where musicians of all ages and levels could learn more about not just their instrument, but about building confidence around performing and self-expression through music.

The honeybee symbolizes perseverance, community, and fully enjoying the “sweetness of life.” To us, this is what music represents: it takes commitment and dedication to pursue an instrument and a musical path, but the reward is a lifelong sense of authenticity, building community, and a constant reminder to be in the present moment. Not to mention, it’s a song title of our very own Floridian native, Tom Petty :)
